Our Approach

The Social Justice & Empowerment Implementation Council (SJIC) is dedicated to supporting and empowering communities that have historically faced social, economic, and institutional barriers. Our initiatives focus on ensuring that vulnerable and marginalized groups are informed about their rights, connected to welfare schemes, and provided with opportunities for sustainable development and dignified living.

We work closely with Scheduled Castes (SCs) and Scheduled Tribes (STs) to promote awareness of constitutional safeguards, reservation policies, educational opportunities, and livelihood programs designed to support their social and economic advancement. By strengthening access to these resources, we aim to help communities overcome systemic inequalities and build pathways toward long-term empowerment.

SJIC also actively supports Other Backward Classes (OBCs) and economically disadvantaged groups by promoting awareness of government schemes, skill development programs, and employment opportunities that encourage financial independence and social mobility.

Special attention is given to senior citizens, ensuring they are aware of welfare schemes, healthcare services, legal protections, and social support systems that promote dignified ageing, safety, and well-being. Through outreach and awareness initiatives, we help elderly individuals access services that enhance their quality of life and security.

Our work also extends to persons with disabilities, focusing on promoting accessibility, inclusive education, skill development, and awareness of disability rights and support programs. By strengthening inclusion and reducing barriers, we aim to empower individuals with disabilities to participate fully in society.

SJIC supports transgender persons and gender-diverse communities by promoting social inclusion, awareness of legal protections, access to education, healthcare, and livelihood opportunities. Our initiatives encourage dignity, equality, and respect for gender diversity within society.

In addition, we work with denotified and nomadic tribes, as well as individuals and families affected by substance misuse and addiction, providing awareness about rehabilitation programs, social support systems, and pathways for reintegration into society.

Through these focused efforts, SJIC strives to ensure that no community remains excluded from opportunities for growth, protection, and empowerment. By strengthening awareness, access, and participation, we aim to help individuals and communities build secure, dignified, and empowered lives.
