Pradhan Mantri Anusuchit Jaati Abhyuday Yojana (PM-AJAY) is a Government of India initiative aimed at the socio-economic development of Scheduled Caste (SC) communities. The scheme focuses on reducing poverty, improving living standards, and creating sustainable livelihood opportunities through skill development, income-generating activities, and community infrastructure development.

PM-AJAY supports self-employment, entrepreneurship, vocational training, and wage employment, helping beneficiaries gain skills and financial independence. It also promotes infrastructure development in SC-dominated areas, including housing, sanitation, drinking water, and community facilities.

By combining livelihood support with improved access to essential services, PM-AJAY works to empower SC communities, reduce inequalities, and promote inclusive and sustainable development across India.
