Scars to Star is a purpose-driven initiative committed to cancer awareness, survivorship empowerment, and compassionate care. Rooted in lived experience, the initiative exists to transform scars left by cancer into symbols of resilience, dignity, and conscious living.

Under Scars to Star, we organize and lead cancer awareness programmes focused on early detection, education, and community sensitization; cancer survivor ramp walks celebrating courage, confidence, and life beyond diagnosis; cancer-free flagship runs promoting preventive awareness and collective responsibility; and the manufacturing and distribution of post-mastectomy bras designed for comfort, dignity, and healing support.

At its core, Scars to Star helps cancer survivors move beyond survival by supporting emotional consolidation, self-worth, and inner strength.

We work closely with cancer patients and survivors by supporting treatment journeys through fundraising and resource mobilisation, offering emotional counselling and psychosocial support, strengthening resilience and emotional stability, and helping individuals build a strong inner compass to transcend trauma and reclaim empowered living.

Upcoming Initiative: Cancer Day Care Support Centre

Scars to Star is establishing a Day Care Support Centre for cancer patients, particularly to assist those visiting government hospitals such as AIIMS and Safdarjung Hospital for chemotherapy and treatment.

The Day Care Centre will provide a safe and supportive space during chemotherapy visits, access to qualified and experienced doctors for emergency care and basic medical support, nutritional support for patients on treatment days, and community-based assistance for general medication and immediate care needs.

This initiative is designed to reduce stress, physical exhaustion, and emotional vulnerability for patients and caregivers, ensuring dignity, care, and human support during one of the most challenging phases of treatment.

Our Vision

To create a compassionate ecosystem where cancer patients and survivors are seen, supported, and strengthened—not defined by scars, but celebrated as stars of conscious, resilient living.
